Coaching Guidelines for Kindergarten and First Grade

1. Teams will be composed of boys or girls in kindergarten or first grade at the time of application
2. Games and practices are played on the smaller fields west of the bleachers
3. The first part of the hour will be “practice”, and the second part of the hour will be the game
4. Teams field 6 players and a goalie unless a lesser number is agreed upon by the coaches prior to the start of the game
5. Games will be divided into quarters to facilitate substitutions
6. Coaches will share referee responsibilities
